Making your arrangements ahead of time makes it easier on everyone including the funeral director.

If the funeral director is called out at 2 AM to someone's home where someone has passed away, the funeral director is challenged with a question of what to do (cremation, burial or possibly shipping the loved one back north with no prearrangements). You are not obligated to pay in advance; however, paying in advance freezes the price. There is nothing binding one way or the other. You can change your mind whenever you choose, whether you pay in advance or not. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call or stop by.
