Wrubel died peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2007. She was born May 26, 1919. She was preceded in death by her husband John Wrubel. She is survived by her children, John Lord, William Wrubel, Nancy Gray, Janine Pollack and six grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will remain an inspiration to her family.

JOHN TOOLAN VIERA John C. Toolan, 57, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2007 at his residence in Viera, FL. He was a retired Senior Systems Engineer, and treasurer for the Six Mile Creek Home Owners Associtaion. John is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughters, Heather and Hollie Toolan; mother, Mary R. Toolan; sister, Mary Clark; and brothers, Frank, Mike and Dennis Toolan.

The family will receive friends at the Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Viera on Thursday, January 25, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. Beckman-Williamson Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Nancy L. Runge beloved wife of the late William Gustave Runge, passed away Monday, January 22, 2007. She was born April 25, 1929, in Beverly, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Alexander and Esther Black.

She graduated from Beverly High School in 1947, and graduated Beverly Hospital School of Nursing in 1951. She enlisted in the Air Force in 1956. She was a flight nurse in Japan, then she returned to the states in 1960, was stationed at Otis Air Force Base, MA, where she met and married William in 1961. She moved to Florida in 1972 with her family. Nancy worked and retired from Holmes Regional Medical Center after twenty-two years, in 1994.

Since retirement, Nancy has volunteered at Patrick Air Force Base in several departments, was a member of the Rambling Red Hat Society of Melbourne and the Sunshine Club of Melbourne. Nancy is survived by her children, Kenton Runge, Karen Foley, Elizabeth (Buffy) Wildie, Anne Barrett and their families; step-children, Walter (Bud) Runge, Jacques (Jack) Runge, Monique Gilroy and their families; as well as the family of her brother, the late Andrew Black and sister, Betsy Benham. Visitation will be held at Beach Funeral Home West Chapel on Friday, January 26, 2007 from 1 to 2 p.m., with a funeral service following at 2 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. CLAUDIA WHEELER TITUSVILLE NANCY RUNGE MELBOURNE Claudia Mitchell Wheeler, aka, "Grandma" to countless children old and young, passed over on Monday, January 22, 2007. Born June 30, 1903, she was famous for her pickles and buttermilk salad. A woman who never met a stranger, always had a Bible quote to fit any occasion. She lived an active life and was loved by many. She is survived by her son, Bill Wheeler; granddaughters, Barbara Johnston and Carol Hop; great-granddaughters, Sarah Johnston, Allison, Kristen and Haley Hop; and sons-in-law, Jan Johnston and John Hop.

DANA BARBOUR SATELLITE BEACH Dana Collin Barbour, 62, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2007. He was born on August 10, 1944 in Hartford, Connecticut, to Roger and Sonya Barbour.

Dana obtained his Bachelor degree in English from Florida Atlantic University and his Master's degree in English Literature from the University of Florida. He served as a Lieutenant in the Naval Reserves. Dana taught English at Satellite High School and later was an adjunct professor at Brevard Community College, Nova Southeastern University and Florida Institute of Technology. He was an author who was dedicated to enhancing social policy awareness through his written works including a published novel, The Question. He enjoyed fishing, music, cooking, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his mother and father; sister, Beth Lane; and brother, Rowdy. Dana is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Jo Barbour; daughter, Mari (Matt) Bennett; son, Devin Barbour; sister, Susan (Doug) Clark; brothers, David (Nancy) Barbour, Jeff (Sharon) Barbour, Wesley (Darlene) Barbour and Francis Barbour; granddaughter, Delaney Bennett; grandson, Chase Bennett; and several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Schofield was born in Marlborough, MA. She graduated from Burbank Hospital School of Nursing and Fitchburg State College with a BS in Education and attended the University of Michigan School of Public Health.

She developed and supervised a rehabilitation program for handicapped patients in the State of Florida. She was a Registered Nurse and owned Presutti Meats in Melbourne for 18 years. Mrs. Schofield is survived by the love of her life, her husband Bill and many, many friends and Godchildren. She goes to God praying she did most of the things right.

MARLENE NELSON VERO BEACH JANET HOMES PALM BAY Lt. Cmdr. Marlene A Nelson, U.S. Navy Retired, 91, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, January 21, 2007, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL. Ms.

Nelson was born February 9, 1915 in Delavan, WI and moved to Vero Beach in 1982 from Paddock Lake, WI. Lt. Cmdr. Nelson was a veteran World War II, ing in the US Navy, retiring the US Navy 1967. She went on to serve as the State Director of Vocational Rehabilitation for the State of Illinois.

She was a member of the Community Church-United Church of Christ Vero Beach, the National Rehabilitation Association and the TROA Retired Officers Association. She is survived by several cousins, including Elaine Moss of Barefoot Bay, FL and JoEllen Diers of Melbourne, FL. A memorial service will take place at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at the Grace Chapel of Community Church-United Church of Christ in Vero Beach with Rev. Gary Moore officiating and military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3918 of Vero Beach. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Condolences may be sent through: www.seawindsfh.com/ WILLIAM RIVENBARK ROCKLEDGE William David "Bill" Rivenbark, 65, of Rockledge, FL, passed away on 1 Sunday, January 21, 2007, at Wuesthoff Hospice Care Center in Rockledge. Born in Coral Gables, FL, Bill grew up in Miami, FL and was an original "Miami boy" during his lifetime. He was an avid fisherman and truly loved being around the ocean. He served in the US Army from 1959 to 1964.

He graduated from Southwest High School in Miami, FL and Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK. Bill started his career in Miami employed by Pan Am and Eastern Airlines. He owned and operated Quality Aircraft Carburetors and Southeast Fuel Systems, Inc. He was known throughout Florida and the U.S. for his ability to trouble shoot aircraft fuel systems.

"Carburetor Bill" was a popular name in the airboat community because of his knowledge and help with engines. Bill is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan Rivenbark; children, William Jr. of Palm Bay, Pamela of Rockledge, Scott (Tracie) of Merritt Island, Melissa of Satellite Beach; eight grandchildren, "Papa's kids" Kayla, Alyssa, Kaley, Posey, Russell, Nicole, Scotty and Maddie; sister, Aileen (David) Graham of Riverside CA; and partner and brother Charles (Maryann) Chapman. He was predeceased by his son, Bryan K. Rivenbark, and parents, Allen and Sarah Rivenbark.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 26, 2007, at 11 a.m., at Florida Memorial Funeral Home followed by entombment at Florida Memorial Gardens. RUDOLPH LEGERE BAREFOOT BAY Rudolph (Sonny) Legere passed away Friday, January 5, 2007. Sonny was born in Lowell, MA in 1931.

He was a long time resident of Tyngsboro, MA, before retiring from Polaroid Waltham, MA to Barefoot Bay, Florida. He was a member of the Army, 82nd Airborne during the Korean War. He was also a member of Kilwinning Lodge A.F. A.M. (Lowell); Scottish Rite Mason (Lowell); Azan Shriners (Florida); American Legion (Florida)." Rudolph (Sonny) is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Shirley (Sarakas); daughters, Diane Legere, LuAnn and her husband David Knight; grandchildren, Rebecca and Christopher Knight; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was pre-deceased by his son, Mark. He also leaves behind his sisters, Elaine Trudel and her husband Robert, JoAnn Cloutier and her husband David, and brother Ernest and his wife Georgette. CAROL HAYS MERRITT ISLAND On Monday, January 22, 2007 Carol Joyce Kruckemyer Hays completed her life's purpose as a faithful child of God in all her roles as daughter, wife, mother and friend. Her journey began on December 23, 1943 in Quincy, Illinois. Her parents were the late Doris and Lloyd Kruckemyer. She moved as a child to Orlando, Florida, graduating from Boone High School in 1961 and Florida Southern College in 1965.

Throughout the years, she developed a lifelong interest in the piano and flute, sharing her gift in her church, school band, and the Brevard Community Band. In high band she met her future husband, Edgar B. Hays. Like music, her life became a harmony of purpose. With Ed, Carol established a home on Merritt Island.

Their life in the Faith Lutheran Church, where they were supportive members for 38 years, was foundational to raising their three sons and creating a thriving business. In the midst of waging a courageous battle against breast cancer, Carol was supportive of others in the same situation by forming a Breast Cancer Support Group. Carol is survived by her husband, Edgar Bruce, of 39 years; her sons and their wives, Jeff and Dory Hays, Cary and Renee Hays, and Timothy Hays; her brothers and their wives, Alan and Marti Kruckemyer and Gene and Nancy Kruckemyer; her mother-in-law, Alyene Hays; her three grandchildren, Callista and Reilly Hays and Christian Hays, as well as many cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and friends who have been blessed by her life. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 27th, at Faith Lutheran Church on Merritt Island, 280 East Merritt Avenue. The family, will receive friends in Myers Hall following the service.

Adams was born in Cross Plains, Texas. She came to Brevard County in 1976 from Arlington VA. She was a retired Civilian Program Manager with the Department of the Navy in Washington, DC. After her retirement she relocated to Brevard County and fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a Real Estate Broker and Agent. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Melbourne, the NARFE, Women of the Moose, American Legion Auxiliary, the Pittsburgh Club and she was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda A. and James M. Webb; grandchildren, Drs. Jamie Lynn Webb (Robert Kennedy, Felicia Suzanne Webb and Laura Elizabeth Webb; greatgrandchildren, Anna Lynn Kennedy and William Francis Kennedy; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton A. Adams. Born in Hanging Rock, OH, she lived in Sophia, WV before moving to Florida in 1963. She retired from Patrick Air Force Base following a long civil service career. Audrea learned to play the organ in her later years and was an active member of the organ club.

She kept connected with her many friends around the world via e-mail. Her family includes her brother, Charles Eicher; niece, Patricia; and nephews, William, Michael, Paul, Charles, Jr. and David. A Memorial Service will be at a later date in Ironton, OH. Donations may be made to the American Lung Association.

She came to Brevard County in 1980 from Auburndale, FL. She was a member of Harbor City Baptist Church, a past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW in Birmingham, AL, a member of the BYKOTA Sunday School Class and an active volunteer at her church. Mrs. Gray is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Bill Lindsay of Melbourne; four grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 27th, at Harbor City Baptist Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
