FLORIDA TODAY, Saturday, January 30, 1999 3B OBITUARIES Barefoot Bay resident Lloyd Ennis dies He was a veteran of both the Korean War and Vietnam War and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. Mr. Reitz was a member of Noncommissioned Officer's Club at Patrick Air Force Base. Survivors include his wife, Beth Reitz of Sebastian; sons, Michael Reitz of Melbourne and Steve Reitz of Palm Bay; stepsons, Bill Buffaloe of Hardy, and John Sartain of Waycross, daughters, Marianne Griggs of Melbourne and Debora Reitz of Sebastian; stepdaughters, Betsy Fischer and Pat Posey, both of Sebastian; brothers, David Reitz of Las Vegas and John Reitz of Johnstown; and sister, Nancy Davidson of Scottsdale, Ariz. No calling hours are scheduled.

Services will be in Washington, D.C. Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home in Rockledge is in charge of arrangements. JUDY NANKIVIL COCOA Judy P. Nankivil, 43, a territory manager for Marketing Specialists of Texas, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, in an automobile accident in Port St.

John. Mrs. Nankivil was born in Warren, Ohio. She came to Brevard County in 1979 from Jacksonville. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Port St.

John. Survivors include her son, Derek Nankivil of Cocoa; daughter, Lindsey Nankivil of Cocoa; father, Roger Portzer of Jacksonville; mother, Pearl Portzer of Jacksonville; sisters, Leona Colley, Bonnie Madden and Kathy Moody, all of Jacksonville; and grandmother, Madeline Portzer of Warren. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home in Frontenac. Services will be at 11 a.m.

Monday at the funeral home. TANA PHILLIPS TITUSVILLE Tana B. Phillips, 65, a former certified nursing assistant, died Thursday, Jan. 28, at home. Mrs.

Phillips was born in Olean, N.Y. She came to Brevard County in 1972 from Miami. lonel in the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He served on the director's staff of the Palestine Temple of Cranston, R.I. "His marriage to a wonderful woman and their plans for retirement is what brought them to Barefoot Bay," said his daughter, Gail Colburn of Providence, R.I.

"He worked for 40 years towards his retirement as a marine mechanic and owner of Salt Pond Marine Railway in Snug Harbor, R.I. His favorite hobby was taking cruises with his wife and just enjoying retirement. "He was a caring, considerate and always thoughtful person. He was a best friend and a teacher to us and loved each of us equally. He was very giving and generous with whatever he had and never expected anything in return.

He was the ideal grandfather and great-grandfather and proud of all his grandchildren and what they have accomplished. He always said he would split the diffence between Rhode Island and here to see all of his grandchildren. He didn't want anyone left out. "We had a large extended He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific. Mr.

Jannuzzi was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Melbourne, American Legion Post 22 and Moose Lodge 2073. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Mary Jannuzzi of Cocoa; son, Anthony Jannuzzi of Cocoa; daughters, Nancy Whip of Dearborn, Brenda Royden of McLean, Teresa Schneider of Garberville, and Donna Fischer of Carlsbad, and many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She came to Brevard County in 1987 from Cinnaminson, N.J. She was a member of American Legion Post 117 Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 1, 1999, at in the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home with burial in Beaufort National Cemetery. Mr. Strickland was born on fulv 29, 1945, in acksonville. North Carolina, a son of Nannie Chauncy loving and the late ohn ivy Strickland.

Mr. Strickland served in the U.S. Coast Guard and received numerous letters of appreciation from the Commander of First Coast Guard District. He was employed by S.C. Department of Transportation, was a truck driver for most of his career and received numerous safetv awards.

Survivors, in addition to his wife of Beaufort; two sons. Ryan and Brandon, of Beaufort: daughter, Rebecca Reed of Palm Bay. Florida; his mother of Beach Island. South Carolina, sister, Sally Berry of Beaufort; step-brother, Bruce Loving of Mechanicsville. Virginia: and tw grandchildren.

JOHN William Charles Mitchell, 83, a former supervisor for the Department of Environmental Services in Washington, D.C., died Thursday, Jan. 28, at Rockledge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Mr. Mitchell was born in Arlington, Va. He came to Brevard County in 1989 from Washington, D.C.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Mitchell of Port St. John; daughters, Malaney Hall and Bessie Alston, both of Port St. John, Vanessa Mitchell of Titusville, Cecelia Mitchell of Gaithersburg, and Marjorie Roberts of Washington, D.C; sister, Bessie Evans of Tacoma Park, and seven grandchildren. No local calling hours are DEATH NOTICE FRANK "PAUL" ANDREWS Frank "Paul" Andrews, 71, a retired construction carpenter, died Friday, January 29, at home. He was bom in East Liverpool, Ohio, August 13, 1927.

Frank was a member of the Palm Bay Eagles 4249, Past Post and State Commander of the VFW in Webster, New York, and a member of the American Legion in Woodstock, Virginia. He was an avid sportsman and an Army veteran. He is survived by his soul mate, Lucille Jester of Palm Bay, Florida; two sons, William Andrews of Las Vegas, Nevada; David Andrews of Vista, California; two sisters, Rosella Blackford of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida and Nancy Kidder of Satellite Beach, Florida. Blair was born in Titusville and was a lifelong resident of Brevard County. Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home in Titusville is in charge of arrangements. EILEEN GREEN BAREFOOT BAY Eileen Wall Green, 77, a retired social worker and teacher in Michigan, died Thursday, Jan. 28, at home. Mrs. Green was born in Duluth, Minn.

She came to Brevard County in 1998 from Riverview, Mich. She served on the board of directors of the Downriver Guidance Clinic and was inducted into the Riverview Hall of Fame in 1996. Survivors include her sons, Robert Green of Barefoot Bay and Ronald Green of San Antonio; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. No calling hours are scheduled. Services will be later in Michigan.

27, at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Mrs- Guy was born in Wormleysburg, Pa. She came to Brevard County in 1959 from New Cumberland, Pa. She was a member of American Association of Retired Persons and the Retired Officers Association. She was Methodist.

Survivors include her daughter, Judith Cagle of Palm Bay; son, Jack Rhoads of Dillsburg, seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 28, at Sebastian River Medical Center in Roseland. Mr. Ennis was born in Charlestown, R.I. He came to Brevard County three years ago from South Kingstown, R.I. He was a Navy veteran of World War and served in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters.

He also was a former captain in the Coast Guard. Mr. Ennis was a former deputy chief of Union Fire District in South Kingstown. Mr. Ennis was past commander of American Legion Post 39 in South Kingstown.

He was a member of American Legion Post 14 in Cumberland, R.I. He also was a member of Hope Lodge 25 in Wakefield, R.I. He was a 32nd degree Mason, member of Scottish Rite Valley of Providence, Palestine Marhaba Shrine Club, Royal Order of Jesters, the Kachina Klub and held commission of co following, at Brownlie and Maxwell Funeral Home in Melbourne. Donations may be made to a charity of choice. MYRTLE HUTCHINSON MELBOURNE Myrtle Wood Hutchinson, 85, a former administrative assistant for the general staff of the Army in Fort Monroe, died Thursday, Jan.

28, at Mariner Health Care Center. Mrs. Hutchinson came to Brevard County in 1993 from Hampton, where she was born. She attended First United Methodist Church of Melbourne and was a former member of First United Methodist Church of Hampton. Survivors include her daughters, Marcia Bromley of Palm Bay and Carolyn Brown of Roseburg, sister, Marguerite Harmon of Fincastle, brother, Charles Wood Jr.

of Hampton; six grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. No local calling hours are scheduled. Services will be later in Virginia. 27, at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge. Mr. Jannuzzi was born in Detroit. He came to Brevard County in 1991 from Port St. Lucie.

Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. Mrs. Pierce was a former resident of Titusville. There are no local survivors.
